Assessors board approves fourth-quarter motor vehicle tax and abatements.

WILBRAHAM — Board of Assessors approves $172,782.99 in motor vehicle excise tax commitment. Chairman John Wesolowski, Board Members Lawrence LaBarbera and Roger Roberge, and Principal Assessor Christopher Keefe signed the Levy 2026 Motor Vehicle Excise Tax Commitment #03 and the Fiscal Year 2026 Solar PILOT of $51,084.00. In closed session, the Board unanimously approved 101 motor vehicle and trailer abatement applications totaling $20,351.47 across tax years 2023 through 2026, and denied 11 applications.
The Board also reviewed the final FY2026 Exemptions report granting 260 exemptions valued at $421,218.58 with $5,877.73 in tax relief.
