Board of Assessors approves motor vehicle abatements, exemptions.

WILBRAHAM — The Wilbraham Board of Assessors approved motor vehicle abatement applications totaling $6,182.49 in its March 10 session. Chairman John M. Wesolowski and Board Member Roger J.

Roberge II voted to grant five real estate exemptions worth $15,370.91 and approved 53 combined motor vehicle and trailer abatements across two tax years. The Board denied five motor vehicle applications and two property abatement applications that did not meet statutory requirements. The Board also approved funding for Assessor Lawrence G.

LaBarbera to attend the Northeastern Regional Association of Assessing Officers conference in May.
