WILBRAHAM — Building Utilization Committee preps June workshop on town facilities. Committee Chair Jeffrey Smith reported 22 registrants confirmed from town departments and committees, with information packets and building fact sheets to be distributed. The committee is advancing a revised Request for Information to include the Memorial building, Town Hall, Red Schoolhouse, and the former Police Department building, and will meet with MassDevCorp on May 28 to gather input.
Vice Chair James Rooney reported that the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will not fund dispatch relocation into the Memorial building, citing low occupancy at a state-financed dispatch facility in Chicopee.
