Cemetery Commission approves paranormal investigation at Adams Cemetery.
Cemetery Commission · Meeting of March 10, 2026
Wilbraham Cemetery Commission unanimously approved paranormal investigation at Adams Cemetery. Commissioners Natashia Ayres, Erica Sabia, and Wilfred Renaud, with guest David Bourcier, also unanimously approved up to $350 for a commemorative plaque on the Adams Cemetery shed honoring the Merrick family. Bourcier presented a 10-page report advancing the town's four-cemetery application for registered historical site status, which would unlock grant funding; the commission awaits a $9,900 Community Preservation Act grant decision for grave restoration.
Ayres and Sabia announced they will not seek reelection as their terms end in May.
