WILBRAHAM — Finance Committee conditionally approves $455,198 facilities maintenance budget. The non-binding resolution, which passed 4-3 on a motion by Xiomara DeLobato, allocates $15,000 specifically to Memorial School Maintenance and depends on progress by the Select Board and Recreation Commission. Town Administrator Nick Breault reported the Select Board voted 2-1 to fund two firefighters/EMTs starting July 1, 2026, and voted 3-0 to purchase one police cruiser in FY27 while rejecting full-time dispatcher hiring.
Assistant Town Accountant Barbara Hancock presented a five-year capital projects plan and urged the Committee to explore Capital Stabilization funding to reduce future borrowing.
