Historical Commission approves prior minutes, considers new member.

Historical Commission · Meeting of April 21, 2026

Wilbraham Historical Commission unanimously approved prior minutes and interviewed candidate Bradley Gregory, a Wilbraham Atheneum trustee and Planning Board member, for membership. The Commission holds $6,000 in Community Preservation Act funds for a memorial marker on Main Street and Federal Lane not yet erected. On a formal review of proposed Crane Park alterations, the Commission advised in its advisory role that the alteration for parking or roadway use is inconsistent with the town's historic character, though it determined the matter's responsibility lies with the Economic Development Committee and Town Counsel.

The Commission declined participation in a Flag Day event at Fountain Park on June 24, 2026.
