Open Space committee approves previous minutes, updates trail work across seven properties

WILBRAHAM — The Wilbraham Open Space and Recreation Plan Committee unanimously approved its prior meeting's minutes and reviewed ongoing maintenance across eight town properties. Members authorized applying for a Community Preservation Act grant to fund materials for trail signs made by Bob Rusczek, paint, and posts. The committee confirmed it has met all 2026 Action Plan goals with ConCom and the Department of Public Works.
The committee discussed selecting a new chair before the current chair's June retirement; the chair role includes posting meetings and minutes, updating webpages and Facebook, writing the Annual Town Report article, and answering questions from officials and the public.
