Bunnell unanimously approved a revised Cable Franchise Agreement incorporating state-mandated disability access provisions and raising the cable service percentage to five percent; Wilbraham Public Access Director Anthony Aube led the Cable Advisory Committee effort over four months. The Board directed priorities to the Finance Committee emphasizing Public Safety, Department of Public Works, and the school district, declining to draw down excess capacity. Fire Chief Andrews requested four new Firefighter/EMT positions citing increased emergency runs; the Board voted support pending timing and financing, with Fire Commissioner Chair Ed Rigney advocating for reduced mutual aid costs.
